Gozundeira lies on a the hillside above the Rio de Sizandro. There are three bridges crossing the creek and there is even a small waterfall.
There is a natural spring higher up in the village with an old communal washbasin.
The village also has a first class Bed and Breakfast: Casa de Campo Moinhos da Gozundeira which we strongly recommend and a really good restaurant: Churrasqueira do Oeste.
A small unmanned train station for the local train that shuttles between Lisbon and Torres Vedras and a buss stop just across the road give the village easy access.
